UniCredit’s pre-funding effort jumps tighter

The performance of UniCredit’s three year senior deal has built on an impressive fourth quarter for Italian banks. But the borrower’s funding head said the successful run of issuance is due more to more attractive pricing than a shift in investor perception of the country’s credits, which he believes is still too conservative.
