Clouds mass over Malaysia

The sparkle emanating from newly revamped downtown Kuala Lumpur is only a sheen. Although foreign investment remains strong, sluggish growth, a declining economy and the rekindling of racial tensions indicate that Malaysia has not truly shed its financial and political woes.
