Ukraine contagion contained in credit
Despite a rising death toll and political turmoil in Ukraine, the impact on neighbouring countries’ bond markets is still minimal, according to emerging market analysts and debt bankers. What weakness there has been in sovereign bonds and currencey levels is also difficult to attribute solely to uncertainty around Ukraine because of monetary and fiscal policy in the countries concerned, said analysts.
