Deutsche Telekom Eu500m bond: Bad luck or bad execution?

Following last week’s successful regional-targeted issue from Eon, on Monday Deutsche Telekom tapped the retail market with a Eu500m long five year issue. But critics have lambasted the deal which, they say, was too long for retail investors. Priced at the wide end of guidance, the bonds were seen up to 2bp wider in the secondary market.
