Thailand permits 15 baht issuers, tells 27 to wait
Thailand’s Ministry of Finance this week permitted 15 foreign issuers to sell bonds in the country, out of the 42 that applied. There has been a recent splash of activity in the Thai baht bond market — with deals from Deutsche Bank and Citigroup, among others — as previous approvals came closer to expiring.
