BofA enters European equity capital market scene

Bank of America will become a significant player in European equity markets with the takeover of Merrill Lynch. At a combined deal volume of $13.25bn this year, the merged bank would now rank fourth in Europe, but perhaps a shot to regain Merrill’s first place of 2007.
