Sovereign debt comes under pressure ahead of announcement of Irish stress test results
With just one week to go before the results of the Irish bank stress tests are announced, the country’s debt came under renewed pressure this week. Irish 10 year government yields rose above 10% for the first time and hit a record premium of 696bp over Bunds.
