EUROPEAN EQUITY - Europe likes the look of Asian listings

Western multinationals faced with sluggish economies back home are eager to tap into the Asian investor pool via direct regional stock offerings. Hong Kong's size and maturity makes it particularly appealing, as does the higher average price-to-earnings ratios that stocks typically trade at in Asia. But the companies most likely to generate investor interest are those with regional exposure, writes Richard Morrow.
