The Middle East has become the world's fourth largest private equity centre. Rising oil prices have generated vast institutional and private wealth, creating ample liquidity for funds to utilise. Thin domestic bourses have set the stage for pre-IPO investments, while the region's infrastructure needs offer opportunities too.
