High yield defaults steady, set to rise
Speculative grade defaults are steady, according to Moody’s, though it expects them to rise. The trailing 12 month rate dipped to 2.8% in July, from the previous month’s revised 2.9% - thoughh this was well up on July 2011’s 1.9% rate.
