LatAm leads the way as BBVA salsas to strong CIB numbers

Provisioning against bad loans again took a huge chunk out of BBVA’s third quarter profits, but the Spanish bank found solace in resilient corporate and investment banking, where pre-tax profits were up 58% year-on-year at €415m for the three months ending September.
