Foreigners flee Indonesian assets ahead of rate hikes
Most mainstream assets in the country have been hard-hit by a major spate of foreign investor selling in the past few days. Fears of accelerating inflation and a lack of policy action are a key factor but so too is the increased level of foreign ownership in Indonesian bonds, says a Citi strategist.
