All-comers welcome as triple-C Hopson and unrated CSI highlight bond market liquidity
Debt bankers this week proved that with the bond market blazing, even the most challenging names can print successful deals. Hopson Development became the first triple-C rated Asian issuer in years to price a dollar transaction, and despite offering what struck many as an uninspiring yield, unrated debutant CSI Properties still managed to close its dollar bond on its second day of bookbuilding, writes Steve Gilmore.
