First whiff of September deals raises LatAm bankers’ hopes
The announcement of the first roadshow for September and the prospect of the first issuance out of Peru since the presidential elections cheered Latin America bankers this week as borrowers remained hunkered down ahead of announcements out of the US.
Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) on Thursday announced plans to meet investors in Europe and the US between September 5-7 with a view to issuing a Reg S/144A deal. Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley have been mandated as bookrunners.
