Iberdrola hears market’s cry with Spanish re-opener
Iberdrola, the Spanish power company that claims to be the world leader in wind energy, took advantage of the same market window identified by Telecom Italia on Thursday, as corporate issuance from peripheral Europe restarted after more than three months.
The A3/A-/A- rated company is viewed as a stronger credit than Telecom Italia, partly because it is a utility, and partly because it is in Spain, which has "an easier tone than Italy", according to one banker on Thursday.
