GE raises Skr2bn in corporate-hungry Swedish market
GE Capital launched a Skr2bn bond on Wednesday, enjoying an enthusiastic bid from Swedish investors happy to have a change from the diet of bank borrowers that has dominated the Swedish krona market for most of last year and the beginning of 2012.
It was GEs first deal in the currency for 11 months Skr1.25bn of fixed rate 2015 bonds and a Skr750m floating rate tranche of the same maturity. The whole deal is worth 227m or $300m.
Most corporate deals in kronor are smaller private placements, reflecting the markets domestic
