After taking 65% of volumes last week, private banks were not as active over the last seven days, but still took 43% of the market. Corporates were again busier than usual, with the private corporate financials showing the greatest increase. This issuer type came with 16 notes for just less than $770m, a 7% share of the market. Jackson National Life Global Funding issued the greatest volumes but a number of other borrowers were also busy. Sigma Finance Corp came with two trades for $93m, the larger a Sfr100m trade led by Deutsche Bank. The issue pays annual interest of 0.820% and matures in February 2005.
