Unibail, Areva, SoGas show weaker market still open for corporate bonds

The game of ‘spot the window’ in the European corporate bond market hotted up today, as 12 banks advised three issuers to go ahead with deals, despite a weak opening to the market this morning.

They were proved right, as the bonds from Areva, Southern Gas Networks and Unibail-Rodamco were all priced at or inside their guidance. But the buzzy, upbeat feeling of Tuesday was absent as some of the books were smaller and the degree of price tightening was less.
