Bank of Georgia to join London big five
Bank of Georgia, the country’s biggest bank and one which has had London-listed GDRs since 2006, said this week that it plans to seek a premium London listing in a move that it hopes will allow it to differentiate itself from its CIS peers. It will be the only pure emerging markets bank constituent of the FTSE All-Share index and give it access to index investors.
