Bailey: bonus cap driven by ‘anti-banker sentiment’

Andrew Bailey told a parliamentary select committee this week that the proposed EU cap on bankers’ bonuses had been driven by "popular anti-banker sentiment", and will reduce the power of disciplinary mechanisms in pay packages.
