But with tighter regulations in the US, and increasingly in Europe, the appeal of international exchanges is beginning to suffer. Meanwhile, competition is heating up in Asia, as Singapore vies to get Chinese companies to debut on its turf, while Beijing wants future privatizations to list on both the Shanghai and Hong Kong stock exchanges.
