Singapore’s banks face up to tough new rules

Singaporean banks will have to operate under tougher bank capital regulations than their peers in Asia after the country’s central bank released strict new regulations this week. But the top three banks in the country look well positioned to absorb the new rules and analysts think it is unlikely that any new capital raisings will be needed.
