European corporate bond issuance falls by 10% but foreign issuance hits record

European companies issued €294bn of investment grade bonds in 2014, less than in either 2012 or 2013. The number of deals also fell, even though it felt like a very busy year in the market, thanks to record issuance by non-European companies.
