Samsung proves global appeal after US bid dominates bond
Samsung Electronics raised $1bn in the international bond market at the start of this week, drawing more than $3.9bn of demand from US investors. The deal underscored the difference in pricing expectations between US buyers and their counterparts in Asia, many of whom were turned off by what they saw as aggressive pricing.
