Wiserfunding’s SME ratings have potential CLO use

Edward Altman, creator of the Z-score metric predicting corporate bankruptcies, has co-founded a new company that automates credit scores for small and medium sized firms. That could help provide ratings for the SME CLO market.
Altman, a professor of finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business, created the famous Z-score methodology back in 1968 to predict the probability of a company going bankrupt within two years.
