MeDirect hires Curtis as CIO for credit push

MeDirect, the former Mediterranean Bank, has hired Michael Curtis as chief investment officer, ahead of a planned push into the credit markets that will see the firm boost corporate lending and related activities. Curtis was most recently at ICG.

At ICG, Curtis was portfolio manager within the credit fund management group, leading the loans business as well as the CLO platform. He has also previously worked at 3i, investing in leveraged loans, high yield and structured credit, and at Alpstar Capital, running loans.
