Nochu returns to US, but stays at edge of euro CLO market

Norinchukin Bank has re-entered the US CLO market after pulling back in April, though is still holding out on European CLOs, and there may now be less incentive for it to take up its previously outsized role.

The Japanese bank pulled back from the CLO sector in both the US and Europe in the second quarter as it came under more intense scrutiny from its domestic regulator, the Japanese Financial Services Agency.
