German fintech Auxmoney secures €250m from Citi, Chenavari

German fintech lender Auxmoney has nabbed another round of funding from Citigroup and Chenavari Investment Managers, receiving €250m in total.

The lender already announced a financing agreement with BNP Paribas equal to €400m in 2020. BNPP had provided financing to Auxmoney while at the same time advising private equity group Centerbridge on its acquisition of a major stake in the lender after contributing €150m to the business.
