NPL platform deal cements doValue foothold in Greece

Italian debt servicing specialist doValue is refinancing its acquisition of a Eurobank debt platform to position itself as a dominant NPL servicer in Europe, ready for the next generation of defaulted loans.

The debt servicer formerly known as doBank provided a bridge loan to acquire an 80% stake in Financial Planning Services (FPS), the NPL platform from Greece-based Eurobank. The strategic move is intended to place the former bank as the dominant NPL servicer in southern Europe.
