CIFC expands European foothold with structured credit UCITS

US credit manager CIFC Asset Management has launched an undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS) fund in the Republic of Ireland.

With the aim of building its presence in Europe, the fund will invest in more liquid tranches of CLO debt, investing at least half of its funds in triple-B rated bonds, targeting a return of 7%-8%.

The fund will be managed by Jay Huang, who joined CIFC
