British Airways on the runway with EETC deal

British Airways priced an $806.88m Enhanced Equipment Trust Certificate (EETC) securitization on Monday.

EETC is a debt instrument popularly used by carriers — most notably American Airlines — to finance aircraft purchases. These deals are backed by principal and interest payments from just one carrier and allows the deal sponsor to aggregate multiple aircraft purchases into one debt security.
