Citi creates banking-markets tie-up for securitization

Citi is reworking its global securitization operations with a new structure that straddles banking and markets, bringing its organisational layout closer in line with that of its competitors.

The securitization and financing businesses within markets, which report into a division called "Global Spread Products", will be combined with similar businesses in banking and capital markets, which report into "Global Structured Finance".
