The awards honoured the banks, issuers, data providers, law firms and accounting firms that stood out from their peers in 2017, and that voters believed to be the most innovative and skillful at navigating a highly complex and ever changing market.
The publication took nominations and polled the industry in March and April, with the results determining winners in 35 categories. The publication used the nominations, combined with peer review among industry participants as well as GlobalCapital's own research and reporting to assemble the short list for each category.
GlobalCapital received nearly 1,000 individual votes for the winners, up from 650 votes collected for last year's awards.
