Delegates flood inaugural CRT conference

Credit risk transfer (CRT) market players arrived in droves for IMN’s first ever CRT focused event in New York on Thursday, showcasing growing interest in a sector that is proving to be the only game in town for supply starved RMBS investors.

The first annual CRT symposium, co-hosted by IMN and Andrew Davidson & Co., had been expecting between 350-400 people “on a good day”, according to Jade Friedensohn, senior vice president and conference producer at IMN, speaking in her opening remarks. Approximately 670 delegates registered for the event.
