Improve borrower experience to make CMBS more attractive

CMBS is still a dismal experience for commercial mortgage borrowers, said attendees at CRE Financial Council last week, and improvements to the process to make it a more attractive option are slow to arrive.

“It was interesting and important [this year] because it wasn’t just one type of industry participant that was talking about it, it was different types of participants,” said an attendee after last week's event. “This is something we should potentially take a good and hard look at.”
