Marlin readies equipment finance ABS

A subsidiary of Marlin Business Services Corp. is securitizing a portfolio of small-ticket equipment leases in its first asset-backed deal since 2010.

Marlin Leasing Corp. filed an ABS-15G for the deal, MRLN 2018-1, with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on July 10. JP Morgan is underwriting the deal.
