German Bank Adds ABS Structurer, Seeks Analyst

Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB) has added Hervy Dawit as an asset backed securities transactor for its conduit business and is seeking a senior ABS credit analyst, says Omar Bolli, senior v.p. and head of asset-backed finance.

Dawit joins NORD/LB from Credit Suisse First Boston where he worked as an analyst in the conduit and credit product group, reporting to Hans Bald, the group's head and managing director. At NORD/LB, Dawit will be buying term ABS assets for the $1.5 billion New York-based Hannover Funding conduit, sponsored by the bank. He will report to Bolli. Bolli says his securitization staff, including himself, now comprises four people (BW, 3/10).

In addition, the bank is seeking a senior analyst for ABS, commercial mortgage-backed securities and collateralized debt obligations, says Bolli. The analyst will report to Stephen Hunter, head of credit. This position is opened to replace a slot left vacant three weeks ago by the departure of an analyst whose name Bolli declined to mention. It is also a newly created slot as the position is an upgrade from junior to senior analyst, he says.
