Ex-Citigroup Junk Analysts, Trader Find New Posts

At least four high-yield professionals who were let go from a unit of Citigroup Asset Management in July (BW, 7/14), have found new positions, according to a person familiar with the situation.

Peter Macguire, an analyst, joins GE Asset Management, where he is expected to focus on gaming and industrial credits. He did not return a call to his mobile phone, nor did Kathy Karlic, head of research at GE Asset Management.

Dave Dunkleman, another analyst, has hooked on with Credit Suisse First Boston's leveraged finance unit, where he is believed to be focusing on proprietary leveraged bank loan investments. He did not return a call to his mobile phone, but a senior CSFB official confirmed the hire. Tom Wong, a third analyst, has joined New York Life as an industrial analyst. He did not return a voice mail message left for him at the firm.

Jim Cordes, a former trader, was rehired as an equities trader at Salomon Smith Barney. He did not return a call.
