Rick Kammler, a director in loan sales at UBS, has left the firm. The reason for his departure could not be determined. Kammler moved to UBS from Bear Stearns, where he had been a par trader, in the summer of 2001.
UBS is believed to be looking to hire a replacement. Kammler declined comment. Brendan Dillon, managing director and head of loan sales at UBS, declined comment and a spokesman for UBS did not return calls before press time. UBS also recently hired Ed Kearns out of retirement. Kearns joined the desk early in January as a director in loan sales. Kearns had been a v.p. and loan sales manager at Goldman Sachs prior to his retirement from the firm last July. (LMW, 1/19).
