* Millennium Partners has hired Ron Hevey as a senior portfolio manager and investment director. Hevey was formerly head of arbitrage trading for the Stafford subsidiary of Toronto Dominion . Prior to that he was a managing director at Nomura International and an executive director at UBS Warburg Dillon Read .
* The Bond Market Association 's board elected Ryan Marshall , global director of fixed income credit research at Morgan Stanley , and Micah Green , president of the BMA, to its board of directors. Marshall will serve as the vice chairman of the corporate credit markets group. Green joined the trade group in 1987 and has been its president since 2001.
* ABN AMRO has hired Christopher Coleman as its London-based head of global convertible bond trading. Coleman joins from Morgan Stanley where he was most recently head of trading for European and Asian convertibles. Coleman, who begins in the middle of the month, will report to David Roberts , head of global convertible bonds. ABN has also hired Ryan O'Connell as an analyst to cover investment-grade banks and brokerage firms. He moves over from Fidelity Investments and reports to Margaret Jones , head of U.S. fixed-income research.
* Morgan Stanley Investment Management has promoted two senior bond professionals to replace executives who are retiring from its fixed income team. Rajesh Gupta has been promoted to global head of fixed income, while Sheila Finnerty moves up to co-head the high-yield investment team with Gordon Loery . They replace Tom Bennett and Stephen Esser , respectively.
* Leslie Fairbanks , managing director at Wachovia Securities , was recently named head of a newly formed real estate services group, which will oversee the firm's commercial mortgage servicing and tax credit investment asset management operations. She reports to Bill Green , managing director and head of the firm's real estate capital markets unit.
