Deutsche Bank in London is bolstering its institutional client group with the addition of a new European head, and the creation of a sole global head for the group.
Hope Pascucci, global head of new issue syndicate and European head of debt capital markets, has added the newly created role of European head of the institutional client group to her responsibilities. In her new capacity she reports to Brian Reid, who has taken the newly minted position of sole global head of the institutional client group. Pascucci retains her reporting line to Jorge Calderon, global head of debt capital markets/corporate coverage. Reid and Pascucci did not return calls.
Meanwhile Jonathan Paul, Reid's former global co-head of the institutional client group in Hong Kong, has dropped his ICG responsibilities to focus completely on his regional role as chairman of global markets Asia Pacific. Paul did not return calls.
"Deutsche Bank Global Market's Asia-Pacific and European franchises have been growing so robustly in recent years as to warrant additional management focus and a streamlining of management responsibilities," said Stephanie Smart, spokeswoman for Deutsche Bank.
