Countrywide Funding in Calabasas, Calif., recently hired Jeff Detweiler, a director in the conduit business at Credit Suisse First Boston in New York. He moved to Countrywide in a similar role and reports to Dave Sambol, president and ceo. Calls to Sambol and Detweiler were not returned.
At CSFB, Detweiler reported to Andy Kimura, head of the MBS trading desk. Kimura and John Gallagher, CSFB spokesman, did not return calls by press time.
