Jack Lohrs, managing director at MBIA Inc., has joined Fitch Ratings as a senior director in the residential mortgage-backed securities division in New York. Lohrs, who started late last month, reports to Joanne Sokolowski and Steve Grundleger, both managing directors in RMBS. He will be responsible for the RMBS performance analytics division in a new role, according to Sokolowski. Lohrs did not return calls.
Lohrs was a managing director in structured finance underwriting at MBIA. Elizabeth James, MBIA spokeswoman, declined comment.
