WhiteHorse Capital Partners, a Dallas-based investment firm that focuses on managing leveraged loans and structured finance vehicles, is gearing up to launch its debut fund, sources said. The firm was formed last year by founding members and portfolio managers Jay Carvell and Ethan Underwood. Both declined comment on the activities of the firm and it could not be determined which bank is working with WhiteHorse.
The other founding member is Jarred Worley, who is the structured product manager and chief operations officer. Antal Desai and Nate Stinchcomb are portfolio analysts at the firm. Desai previously worked at Goldman Sachs and Stinchcomb was at Credit Lyonnais.
