Deutsche Bank has hired Amin Majidi, formerly of ABP Investments US, as a mortgage-backed strategist and co-head of MBS research in New York, according to a person familiar with his move. Majidi, who was between jobs and could not be reached, will report to Karen Weaver, managing director and regional head of research for the Americas. She and Michele Agostinho, spokeswoman, did not return calls prior to press time.
Majidi's role and responsibilities at the New York office of ABP, a massive Dutch pension fund for government workers, could not be determined before press time. ABP officials in New York declined all comment.
