GE Energy Financial Services has hired Don Kyle, managing director and project finance syndication chief at Société Générale, according to Power, Finance & Risk, an LMW sister publication. Kyle will be in a capital market leadership role based in Stamford, Conn. Kyle declined comments and calls to Roger Bredder, managing director of project finance at SG, were not returned.
Kyle is a fixture in the project finance market and joined SG seven years ago from Chase Manhattan Bank. GE has boosted its energy and power team this year. It has also brought on board Fran Ballard, formerly of BNP Paribas,Nikolas Novograd from ABN Amro and Deborah Hemsey from Credit Suisse First Boston.
