Eaton Vance has hired Daniel McElaney as a trading assistant to provide analysis and support for trading and portfolio management. McElaney will report to head trader Andrew Sveen. "We continue to grow in terms of assets under management and number of investment vehicles, so it made sense to bring on Dan to augment our trading effort," Sveen said. Michael Botthof will continue his role as back-up trader.
