Barclays Capitalhas snapped up Gregg Neville, director, and Daphne Haddock, analyst from the structured credit sales desk at BNP Paribas in New York. They start this week in similar roles and report to John Lovisolo, managing director and head of structured credit product sales at Barclays in New York. He said the hires are part of the group’s overall expansion and Neville and Haddock will cover a new area, specifically Canadian clients. Lovisolo noted the firm also recently hired Oliver Dunche, as director, from Deutsche Bank, and Nirav Doshi from J.P. Morgan in hedge fund sales. Barclays will continue to hire selectively, said Lovisolo. Neville and Haddock were in transition and could not be reached by phone and did not respond to emails by press time. Edwina Frawley, spokeswoman for BNP Paribas, confirmed the departures and said their positions have not yet been filled.
