Vincent Mistretta has been appointed chief operating officer for credit fixed income at UBS. Mistrettata "will interface with all logistical functions, with an emphasis on [information technology] and operational risks," according to a UBS memo obtained by BW. UBS recently combined its fixed-income and credit businesses under a global credit fixed-income banner. Sal Naro and Chris Ryan in New York are jointly responsible for credit fixed-income. Mistretta did not return a call and UBS spokesmen were not able to provide further details by press time.
