Structured Credit Heads Quit UBS

Jeff Herlyn and Michael Rosenberg, managing directors and co-heads of the collateralized debt obligation group at UBS, have quit the firm to join Polygon Investment Partners

Jeff Herlyn and Michael Rosenberg, managing directors and co-heads of the collateralized debt obligation group at UBS, have quit the firm to join Polygon Investment Partners, a London-based credit investor. Herlyn, based in Stamford, Conn., and Rosenberg, who worked from London, headed up the firm's corporate-credit backed CDO effort. The team is run separately from UBS' structured-financed backed deals.

Herlyn and Rosenberg joined UBS two years ago from J.P. Morgan. They did not immediately return calls. Their resignations come just a week after Sal Naro, co-head of credit fixed income at UBS, quit to start up a new hedge fund seeded by SAC Capital Advisors.
